My Approach to Executive Coaching
I'm not going to lie: My methods aren't for everyone. Let me start by saying that I don't give a s**t what people think of me. I didn't reach my version of success by worrying about things I can't control.
When you turn to me for executive and leadership coaching, you'll have to be honest. You'll also need thick skin. You need to hear the blunt truth about your abilities, weaknesses, and the mental roadblocks that are holding you back. These are the kinds of things your family, friends, colleagues, and subordinates would never say to your face.
I do things differently than they do at the International Coaching Federation. Whether I'm working with senior team leaders or entrepreneurs, I begin by setting my client's destination in life. I then focus on setting the goals needed to get there in stages. This requires planning and a range of systems to help you stay on the right path.
Think of my life coaching approach as a satellite navigation system. We'll set the destination, choose the route, plan our pitstops, and create a series of driving strategies to ensure we get there as quickly as possible.
Yes, we may hit traffic. We may even hit roadblocks. But that's the great thing about my coaching approach—the system always recalculates the route. I created my VISION GPS process to give people a clear route to their ultimate destination in life. And throughout our coaching period together, we'll use it to ensure we're always on the right track.
